This morning I found two completely unbidden notes addressed to me on my computer from my 10-year-old daughter Maegan. One of them starts, “Dear Daddy.”
Here’s an excerpt:
“…Here is a song that I made up. Maybe you could put it on Every Day Epics. It us just a suggestion.
No matter how far you are from home. Jesus is always there for you. During sadness and tears. During happiness and prayers. He is always holding you in his arms. He loves you so. He never leaves you ever ever He is lasting forever.”
What a great way to start my day! Thank God for little people who write and believe things adults like me sometimes find it hard to keep believing. I’ll treasure these notes forever.
