Earlier today members of area non-profits bustled up and down makeshift aisles and sorted through piles of free winter coats for the best remaining items at the Coats for Colorado/Dependable Cleaners warehouse on Broadway Street in Denver, Colo.
Although the warehouse was open to the general public through Dec. 1, volunteers from area non-profits were still able to fill as many extra-large plastic bags full of free coats as they could for their clients through today.
Among those picking through the dwindling mountains of coats in the warehouse, were representatives from Lutheran Family Services, A Precious Child and a food bank in Bennett, Colo.
